Summary
Rotavirus is one of the main pathogens causing diarrhea in infants and young children. It mainly infects small intestinal epithelial cells, resulting in cell damage and diarrhea.Rotavirus is prevalent in summer, autumn and winter every year, and the infection route is fecal-oral route. The clinical manifestations are acute gastroenteritis and osmotic diarrhea. The course of disease is generally 6-7 days, fever lasts 1-2 days, vomiting 2-3 days, diarrhea 5 days, and severe dehydration symptoms.Adenovirus infections can be asymptomatic or have specific symptoms, including mild respiratory infections, keratoconjunctivitis, gastroenteritis, cystitis, and primary pneumonia. Norovirus is the main pathogen causing non-bacterial acute gastroenteritis in humans worldwide. It can be transmitted through contaminated food, water and daily contact, and the epidemic caused by norovirus is gradually increasing.
